Who are we
A community of builders, thinkers, founders
Taking inspiration from the Network State and modern communities, Catalyst is organizing a 'startup community': a small loosely coupled community based on shared values and principles of deep curiosity, drive to build, bias to action and intellectual open mindedness.
We're hosting several retreats/events a year to tie together carefully selected groups of founders, operators, builders and academics that value intentionality, educate themselves deeply, and generally believe in growing global consciousness and prosperity.
Founded in 2023, we aim to grow gradually over the next 5-10 years, to transition into owning physical property.
A focused, intentional community built by and for founders, operators, and builders.
No WhatsApp groups, forums or similar. Online communication for updates only. And for the rest we just bring good founders & operators together.
We’re not trying to become a huge community. There’s no profit motive. We care about member progress, which happens best with focus, especially for those that want to create new knowledge or systems.
We’re intentional about who we invite and how we host, because we care deeply about supporting everyone's journey.
We love hosting together! If you have cool ideas that you'd like support on, we are happy to do logistics and co-organize something cool!
Vision
Catalyst's long term goal is to embody and contribute to our members' flourishing. We're flexibly organized but overall strongly aligned and curated group. We bring together serious change makers, thinkers and builders to connect, grow and create things.
The aim is to contribute to each other's lives, but also gradually to humanity as a whole, in small and big - but always tangible - ways.
We think that aligning caring and driven humans is the best precursor to achieving acceleration. The best creations come from the intersection of play and strong dedication.
Over the next 10 years, we will grow Catalyst into a “startup village” — a (possibly distributed) online and physical space where you feel at home and highly supported/stimulated.
A collective of individuals that prioritizes human flourishing, experimentation, deep reflection, decisive action, and self-development.
A group of people that challenges you to think and dream big, because you know the community has your back.
We want you to meet the people you start your next venture with, but also those you might ask to watch your dog (or even children).
Providing an enduring sense of friendship, community, and home — all across the world, without sacrificing individuality and autonomy.
